Editing Reflection

As a whole, I am pleased with how the editing work I did affected the outcome of the music video.
Me and Phoebe established very early that I would be the one to physically edit our video on Adobe Premiere Pro, with Phoebe observing and making suggestions and contributing ideas. This was fair as I knew Phoebe was not as comfortable editing, and so I happily took on the role.

Editing is something I find very fun so I enjoyed trying out various different effects and transitions and applying them to our footage - I quickly learned what did and didn't work when trying to get a certain feel for our video, and constantly went back over older pieces of editing work to try and revise it to be as cleanly edited as possible, in the best style possible.

I am very happy that rather than relying on just special effects, we also used physical effects during filming - for example, placing a pair of kaleidoscope glasses over our camera lens to get a colourful, kaleidoscopic effect. I am happy about this as while Premiere was an excellent programme to edit on, I was unable to find an effect on Premiere that matched exactly what we were going for. My only negative experience with Premiere is this, and not being able to properly blend a split-screen - however, these are only tiny things and I do not think they negatively affected the end result.
